The Amministrazione autonoma dei monopoli di Stato - AAMS (Independent Administration of State Monopolies) carries out activities aimed at regulating and controlling the entire gaming compartment, after having acquired state functions in 2002, and it maintains some of the traditional responsibilities and authority on products deriving from tobacco manufacturing.
The reason for the presence of the State, in both the gaming and the tobacco compartments, is to ensure the collection of taxes at a level compatible with the protection of the other relevant public interests: consumer protection, in particular that of minors and the weaker population brackets, and the fight against illegality. Of equal importance is the role pursuant to which it fosters the development of economic activities, of manufacturing and distribution, which are now significant in terms of wealth creation and employment.

ISPRA performs, with the inherent financial resources, equipment and personnel, the Agency for Environmental Protection and Technical Services referred to in Article 38 of Legislative Decree No 300 of July 30, 1999, as amended, the National Institute for Wildlife of Law February 11, 1992, No 157, as amended, and the Central Institute for Scientific and Technological Research Applied to the Sea of Article 1-bis of Decree-Law 4 December 1993, n.496, converted into law, with amendments, Article 1 , Paragraph 1, January 21, 1994, n. 61.

ISPRA is supervised by the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea.

The National Research Council (CNR) is a public organization; its duty is to carry out, promote, spread, transfer and improve research activities in the main sectors of knowledge growth and of its applications for the scientific, technological, economic and social development of the Country.
To this end, the activities of the organization are divided into macro areas of interdisciplinary scientific and technological research, concerning several sectors: biotechnology, medicine, materials, environment and land, information and communications, advanced systems of production, judicial and socio-economic sciences, classical studies and arts.
CNR is distributed all over Italy through a network of institutes aiming at promoting a wide diffusion of its competences throughout the national territory and at facilitating contacts and cooperation with local firms and organizations.
From the financial point of view, the main resources come from the State, but also from the market: even 30% of its balance sheet, an extraordinary result, is the result of revenues coming from external job orders for studies and activities of technical advice as well as from agreements with firms, contracts with the European Union and with the other international organizations.

Polieco Consortium is a mandatory, non-profit and is governed by the statutes approved by the Ministry of 'Environment in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Craftsman by decree of July 15, 1998, published in the Official Gazette of August 12 1998.
10   Link   Consorzio Nazionale Riciclo Imballaggi Acciaio
The National Steel Consortium encourages, promotes and facilitates the collection and recycling of used packaging steel, coming both from domestic (citizens) and industrial. The Consortium then it is the task to inform users of steel packaging in a proper delivery, check the inflows and ensure recycling.
In 2009 have been released for consumption (ie consumed) 458,000 tonnes of packaging steel, of which 77.8% was sent for recycling: an important goal, which helped in fact to avoid the waste of resources, to the benefit of the environment and future generations.

The Ministry for Culture and Environment was established by John Spadolini (by Decree-Law of 14 December 1974, n. 657, converted into law January 29, 1975, n. 5 - February 14, 1975 OJ, No. 43), with the task to assign a unit to the specific expertise of a specially formed Ministry for the management of cultural heritage and the environment to ensure the protection of organic interest of extreme importance both domestically and nationally. (Organization of the Ministry for Cultural and Environmental Heritage by the President of the Republic No. 805 of December 3, 1975)



He picked up the skills and tasks for which they were before the Ministry of Education (Antiques and Fine Arts Academies and libraries), Ministry of Interior (State Archives) and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (Discoteca di Stato, book publishing and dissemination of culture).

In 1998 Legislative Decree n. 368, Oct. 20, is set up the new Ministry of Heritage and Culture, who have devolved the powers belonging to the Ministry of Culture and Environment which runs alongside the promotion of sport and sports facilities and promoting of entertainment activities in all its forms: from cinema to theater, dance, music, traveling to shows.

With Decree-Law of 18 May 2006 No 181, the powers of sports are assigned to the new Ministry for Youth and Sports

By the end of 2006, the Departments have been replaced by the Secretariat General.
The Secretary-General, as regards the implementation of the program guidelines of the area, relies on the skills of general managers, managers of services, and, in an advisory capacity on specific topics, general director.

By Decree of the President of the Republic of November 26, 2007, No 233 posted G.U. No 291, December 15, 2007 - No Ordinary Supplement 270 is approved the new Regulations for the reorganization of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities' cultural, pursuant to Article 1, paragraph 404, of Law December 27, 2006, No 296.

Published in Ordinary Supplement G.U. n. 164 of July 17, 2009 July 2, 2009 Presidential Decree No. 91 of the new Regulation of organization and reorganization of the Ministry of offices working directly with the Minister for Arts and Culture based measures more rational, efficient and cost-effectiveness of public administrations, which introduces significant innovations designed to enhance the action of protection, enhancement and enjoyment of the national cultural heritage and at the same time returns focus to preserve the landscape in the wider context of the fine arts. Among the main changes, in fact, there is the establishment of the Directorate General for the promotion of cultural heritage, which will allow more effective in promoting and developing this sector, in order to ensure greater disclosure and accessibility of cultural heritage. Also important is the establishment of the Directorate General for Landscape, Fine Art, architecture and contemporary art.

Fintecna, società interamente controllata dal Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze, ha maturato competenze distintive nel campo della gestione di partecipazioni e dei processi di privatizzazione, anche con riferimento all'attività di razionalizzazione e ristrutturazione di aziende caratterizzate da situazioni di criticità sotto il profilo industriale, economico-finanziario ed organizzativo, nell'ottica di promuoverne il rilancio sul mercato, ovvero di inquadrarle nell'ambito di un processo di liquidazione efficacemente gestito.

Più in particolare l'azione di Fintecna si caratterizza nelle seguenti linee di attività:

gestione delle partecipazioni, attraverso una costante azione di indirizzo, coordinamento e controllo sia delle società con prospettive di uscita dal portafoglio (privatizzazioni-liquidazioni), sia delle partecipazioni destinate ad una permanenza più duratura nel contesto societario Fintecna, nell'ottica di valorizzare le relative attività precostituendo - anche attraverso impegnativi interventi di razionalizzazione industriale e di ristrutturazione economico finanziaria delle imprese - i presupposti e le migliori condizioni per il loro conveniente collocamento sul mercato;

gestione "specializzata" di complessi processi di liquidazione, finalizzata a perseguire economie di tempi, nonchè ad ottimizzare risorse e risultanze delle relative attività liquidatorie assicurando al contempo il più conveniente realizzo del patrimonio e l'attenta cura delle problematiche occupazionali. A tale contesto operativo fa riferimento l'affidamento del mandato a gestire le attività facenti capo all'Ispettorato della Ragioneria Generale dello Stato in ordine ai cosidetti Enti Soppressi ed il trasferimento, ai sensi dell'art. 1 commi 488-496 della legge finanziaria 2007, in capo alla Ligestra s.r.l. (100% Fintecna) dei patrimoni di Efim in liquidazione coatta amministrativa e delle società in liquidazione coatta amministrativa interamente controllate da Efim nelle quali Ligestra s.r.l. ha assunto il ruolo di Commissario Liquidatore.

gestione articolata e flessibile del rilevante contenzioso, prevalentemente proveniente dalle società incorporate, orientata alla accurata ricerca di percorsi transattivi che, in presenza dei necessari presupposti giuridici e di convenienza economica, assicurino una positiva e rapida composizione delle vertenze in corso.


Le modalità di funzionamento degli organi societari sono riportate nello Statuto della società.

Nell’ambito delle misure previste dal D.Lgs. n. 231/01, Fintecna, anche con riferimento al perseguimento di finalità di interesse pubblico, si è data specifici principi di comportamento, che sono stati formalizzati nel Modello di Organizzazione, Gestione e Controllo di Fintecna S.p.A., del quale fa parte il Codice Etico della Società.

Ai sensi del Testo unico in materia di salute e sicurezza nei luoghi di lavoro si riporta il documento di Sintesi relativo alle Misure di Sicurezza adottate dalla società.

In linea con quanto il Progetto culturale della Chiesa italiana si propone, il Centro vuole favorire una “visione del mondo cristiana” - incoraggiando al pensiero filosofico cristiano - e promuovere il dialogo attraverso una serie di iniziative di carattere scientifico volte a qualificare la ricerca offrendo soprattutto occasioni e strumenti di confronto e di convergenza per ricercatori e studiosi attenti alle problematiche dello sviluppo e al dialogo nella ricerca della verità.
