ICEF has for more than twenty years promoted steps for a better international holistic and balanced governance of the environment at both the political-administrative and jurisdictional levels. In response to today’s pressing global environmental threats such as global warming and climate change, the realisation of adequate and effective models of environmental governance is a very challenging and ambitious project which, above all, requires the shared involvement and co-ordination of institutions, businesses, civil society and the scientific world. The ICEF Network of experts and judges, sharing information and best practices, wishes to contribute to the debate and make tangible progress in addressing the challenges of global environmental governance. The ICEF World Network consists of experts, lawyers and judges who actively contribute to ICEF high level meetings and scientific publications. |
